Philips Head of Market Business Transformation & IT Middle East Turkey in Istanbul, Turkey


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Prioritize and drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, using standard tools like Problem Solving, Daily Management, LEAN & Six Sigma, and create an organization culture of continuous improvement by embedding the improvement mindset to achieve performance excellence.

You are responsible for

  • Defining with Market Management Team the Business Transformation strategy and roadmap including Continuous Improvement, E2E Transformations, E2E Deployments and local for local projects, including selection of target areas, priority setting between programs.

  • Acting as a gatekeeper within the market by bringing transparency around all business transformationinitiatives and work with the central teams to set the right priorities and sequence based on the business objectives and KPIs.

  • Driving the Transformation commitments of Market, providing thought leadership and strategic directionon how the business can execute and deploying the Accelerate program and implementing Philips Excellence.

  • Establishing culture of continuous improvement, Lean Leadership and sustainable Lean Behavior throughout all leadership levels.

  • Creating a learning organization with thorough problem solving and daily management mindset ensuring that business transformation is sustainable in the Market through strong change management, continuous improvement and sharing of best practices within and across the businesses.

  • Leading the organization’s Philips Excellence resources, including Lean Experts, Lean Masters, E2E Transformation Manager & IT team.

  • As an Active member of the Market Management Team; supporting Market CEO in leading effective operating reviews to ensure problem solving at Market Level to act on "red“ KPIs.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in Business or Engineering,

  • 12+ years of experience in the related field and similar role in a multi-national organization,

  • Knowledge of business process improvement tools and managing large projects/programs in complex cross-functional organizations and/or environments,

  • Expertise in Lean Management, Problem Solving & Daily Management and Project Management Certification,

  • Strong Business Acumen; understand P&L to drive Performance and Business Impact,

  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence without direct authority,

  • Business Process Knowledge in Market to Order & Order to Cash process areas.
