Philips Distributor Manager, Bengkulu (Based in Bengkulu) in Jakarta (Java), Indonesia

Works as a Field Sales Representative on problems of moderate scope where the analysis of field sales data requires a review of a variety of factors using Root Cause Analysis. The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of basic field sales principles, -theories and -concepts. Formulates the solution for (technical) partial problems by combining previous experiences based upon technical analysis and field sales (feasibility) studies. May lead small field sales projects, managing a small number of people. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and < 5 years of related experience in field sales.

Be a part of Philips Indonesia Personal Health (Consumer) team. This is an extremely exciting area of our business, with massive potential, and the opportunity for you to make a real impact on the overall success of our Personal Health Business in Indonesia

You are responsible for:

  • Manage sales, volume per outlet and active outlet performance, versus quarterly target of assigned territory

  • Manage customer/ key dealers relationship through all phases of the sales cycle

  • Implement trade promotions by developing field sales action plans

  • Responsible for tracking customer information, forecast and report

  • Continuously improve ‘In store presence’, to execute the scale up of Philips visibility in key Traditional Retail and/or Modern Channel stores

  • Sell out management: Ensure sell-out trend (including future promotion plan) is in line with targets

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree holder from accredited University

  • Minimum 5-year experience in sales and distribution management, preferably in Consumer Electronic, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Telecommunication industry

  • Excellent capability in managing and partnering with dealer/distributor

  • Ability to analyze market trend, and evaluate sales programs

  • Excellent communication and salesmanship skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Both result oriented and collaborative

  • Ability to work independently without much supervision

  • Willing to travel and spend most of the time on the market field
