Philips Field Sales Supervisor - Based in Medan in Jakarta (Java), Indonesia

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be a part of Philips Indonesia Health Systems team. This is an extremely exciting area of our business, with massive potential, and the opportunity for you to make a real impact on the overall success of our Health Systems, Ultrasound Business in Indonesia.

You are responsible for

  • Manage existing, and generate new sales revenue for Ultrasound product and solutions.

  • Responsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accounts.

  • Develop and drive credible and productive long-term relations at the appropriate organizational levels and disciplines, in order to maximizing the value (top- and bottom-line) ofthe short & long term business goals of Philips Healthcare business line.

  • Understands customer (price) targets and competitive offering.

  • Develop good understanding of the customers (business model) and their and our applications to maximize business opportunities.

  • Develop, coordinate, implement and drive the account plan, including tailored value proposition.

  • Negotiate / generate agreement with the assigned accounts, coordinate and drive account, and Philips promotion.

  • Responsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accounts.

  • Lead the district account team and drives other disciplines such as Project Management, Operations and Customer Services.

  • Collaboration with channel partners where required.

  • Support the cluster / regional team to implement strategic sales / services solutions (e.g. Care Cycle, Philips Healthcare Solutions, strategic account management) at district level.

  • Ensure that completed quotations are based on a solution / configuration compliant to specifications validated by the Business, and it is properly reviewed by operations (ProjectManagement) for feasibility and accuracy prior to being issued.

  • Ensure any third party product included in the solution and not part of the catalogue is properly validated for compatibility / compliance of specifications.

  • When required provide dedicated support to assigned accounts to ensure timely handover of the signed customer acceptance document and support collecting Accounts Receivable (AR).

You are a part of

You will be working with other passionate and enthusiastic people committed to providing the very best service to customers. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Healthcare team, and have daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across the business, especially the Ultrasound, Sales and Product Management teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree holder with more than 5-year experience in B2B sales.

  • Preferably, with proven track record in sales/account management/business development function in Pharmaceutical/medical devise industry. Prior experience in selling Ultrasound is anadvantage.

  • Excellent sales and long term relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication, and ability to build and nurture relationship with medical officers/doctors/other relevant stakeholders.

  • Previous experience in managing large tender with government hospitals is a plus.

  • Collaborative, engaging and open minded.

  • Responsible and proactive self-driver with strong integrity.

  • Preferably, have the ability to communicate in English.

  • Willing to be based in Medan and travel for business as required.
