KARs SQE engineer
Be informed, guide and contribute to the implementation of the PPQM process including the PEPF SQ procedures and belonging documents and W.o.W. leadership and key execution role responsible for ensuring that purchased materials meet specifications, managing the parts quality planning and execution process Serves as a key interface with Operations, R&D, Procurement Engineering, Supplier Development, SQA and Commodity Mgt. Escalation for any conflicts that cannot be solved to SQE manager
Create a supplier quality improvement program based on Identified risk level and assure execution of the improvement plan Contribute to and influence sourcing decisions identifying required supplier capability and quality level as well as TCO elements from Quality point of view. Escalate to SQE manager when conflict between Quality and other business needs cannot be resolved within the sourcing team.
Assure the change management process is followed by both supplier and Philips for supplied parts Assure all changes are managed via APQP/PSW process (in line with PPQM and PEPF procedures) Be part of, or formalized aligned with, the change management board at Philips for all supplier related aspects
Accountable for supplier performance. Manages quality conformity of supplies via active monitoring of the supplier performance and driving the incident and complaint resolution, including supplier audits, SCAR follow-up improvement programs, etc. (all in line with PEPF procedures) Ensure compliance and execution of suppliers to regulations, quality agreements and standards
Plan and perform process audits as co/lead auditor for supplier processes Support supplier certification audits, selection & qualification assessments as a (lead) auditor. Remark: Accountable for SEAT is the SQA function. Support and/or Lead efforts to shape and deploy common SQE approaches and working methods to drive ‘’One Philips’’ towards Supply Base of BG PC Decision making for escalation of supplier related change management projects Identify gaps between required and current supplier capabilities, and drive quality improvement plan / risk mitigation accordingly. Contribute to and influence sourcing decisions identifying required supplier capability, quality level and TCO elements from SQE point of view. Escalate when conflict between Quality and other business needs cannot be resolved within the sourcing team. Support Supplier development programs.
Drive Quality awareness both internally in the organization and externally with ODM /suppliers
In this role you have the opportunity to maintain and improve the maturity of our suppliers as well as the quality level of our products and components.
You are responsible for:
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Check and approve PSW (production release)
Driving continuous improvement programs at suppliers
SCAR/SQN (supplier corrective action report, former 8D) management
Finished Good quality management
Component quality management
Supplier monitoring and reporting
Planning and execution of supplier audits
Support and influence supplier planning and selection
Risk evaluation You are a part of an interdisciplinary project and production team in the context of Personal Care or Oral Health Care Business Group
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
University/TU/FH/HTL qualification in engineering domain (e.g. mechanical, electrical engineering, material science etc.)
Quality Education (Knowledge of Q-tools and Statistics: DoE and Test planning, AQL, Distributions, Minitab or related programms…)
Audit or Auditor education.
Good Engineering and manufacturing knowledge
Multisite communication (worldwide, within and outside Philips)
Very good English skills
Ability to lead a small interdisciplinary team (case driven)
Mature in use of MS applications (Excel…)
Good presentation skills
Team player, pro-active behavior
Flexibility on travel needs (worldwide)

The minimum yearly salary is equal to € 43.022.- / gross with willingness to overpay. The actual annual income is commensurate with the market, your qualifications, and experience. Additionally, we offer various social benefits
