Philips Quality Systems Specialist - Training in Latham, New York

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Quality Systems Specialist - Training performs the primary role as administrator of the training program for all Philips Latham site employees, with a primary focus of training as required by the implemented Quality Management Systems.

You are responsible for

  • Defining a lean training and training administration practice in scope

  • Ensuring the Training Management System complies to the intended use and complies to regulatory requirements

  • Approving each training material prior to usage and control the set and recording of approved trainings

  • Ensuring that training content is controlled and access to make changes is managed

  • Ensuring the assignment of training requirements profiles and documentation for all job’ required training

  • Ensuring that managers assign the correct training profiles to all individual employees based on job requirement profiles

  • Reporting on training compliance and training related KPIs

  • Providing feedback to users on profile and training compliance and non-compliance

  • Supporting users on using the Training Management System

  • Establishing, monitoring and responding to metrics on the efficacy and efficiency of the Training Administration and Control activities and its ability to support the business

  • Ensuring all mandatory training requirements are set and training is executed as required.

  • Administering both profiles and training records in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensuring Training Management System setup.

  • Additional responsibilities of this position include administrative support to the Document Control and Audit Teams under the direction of the Quality Systems Management.

You are a part of

This role will be a part of the Quality & Regulatory team in Latham, NY.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in technical (i.e. science / computer / engineering) discipline

  • 2+ years of experience in similar role in a regulated industry

  • Quality Systems understanding – Training and Competency Awareness

  • Quality Records Management experience – Training records is a plus

  • Proficiency in software –specific to database / TEDs system

  • Team player: ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams

  • Data compilation and presentation experience

  • High-energy and motivation

  • Proven follow through on tasks – meeting deadlines
