Philips Site & General Manager- MR Magnets in Latham, New York

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Help build on Latham’s rich technology development and product innovation capability in superconducting magnet systems, supporting the global MRI product innovation strategy. You will be a driver of this great manufacturing facility! Spearheading operations locally and at related global factory locations.

You are responsible for

  • Manage the delivery and performance against R&D road maps, AOP, SPOR and related commitments while ensuring strict Quality & Regulatory compliance.

  • Full responsibility for Business controlled portion of integral P&L.

  • Responsible for developing the business related growth plan in collaboration with internal customers, OEM customers and the applicable commercial teams.

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive business plans underpinning the growth plan to drive full value and customer impact for new products, services and solutions.

  • Own the development of the product development road map (for internal product development and for externally sourced Development), based on the strategic plan.

  • Creating compelling offerings that are relevant and meaningful to Internal and OEM customers.

  • Responsible for close commercial team collaboration to understand customer needs and staying ahead of technology / customer use / market / competitive trends. Help to define propositions and innovations that shape the business.

  • Overseeing product/solution launches to help capture the full economic value.

  • Drive, in cooperation with the other business lines, an integrated portfolio strategy.

  • Scanning the competitive and adjacent landscape to drive or support the strategic M&A/BD&L pipeline, transactions and post-merger integration.

  • Partnering with Operations, Engineering and Procurement to improve overall productivity and deliver against product cost down plans.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Management (or similar), Masters preferred

  • Minimally 10 + years of leadership experience with Industrial Products

  • Served in a role as a Site Leader or General Manager with a demonstrated eye for business, P&L experience and consistent goal attainment.

  • Demonstrated understanding of customer insights and how product / solutions are conceived, developed, and launched and managed through their life-cycle

  • Prior experience inclusive of strategic planning, product development and commercial leadership

  • Continuous Improvement skillset - credentials or certifications preferred (Lean, Six Sigma, Etc.)

  • Experience in in business, financial planning and value- based management.

  • Quality and Regulatory background is preferred

  • Prior Market/Sales experience preferred
