We have a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity for a Welder Mechanic in Latham, NY. The Latham facility is a manufacturing and development site for Magnetic Resonance Imaging magnets and other superconducting products used in Philips Magnetic Resonance Imaging and other customers.
The successful candidate will perform brazing, cutting, bending, drilling, taping, and similar operations as required to fabricate intricate assemblies encountered in cryogenic applications.
Must be able to prep parts for welders.
Must be able to operate an orbital welder
Must be able to operate bridge cranes and forklift trucks.
Able to perform special assignments as required by the supervisor.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and or operating procedures
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds.
Must be capable of climbing.
Must be capable of sitting or standing for long periods of time.
