Philips Business Process Expert (Supplier Contracting Design & Transformation) in Lodz, Poland


In this role, you have the opportunity to develop capabilities, processes and tools for a world-class Supplier Contracting process, contributing to the overall Philips Procurement strategy and transformation. Your work will contribute to realizing the digital transformation objectives of Philips Procurement.

You will be part of Supplier Contracting Design & Transformation team of the Procurement organization, belonging to the Process & Systems area. You will work closely with other Procurement teams and cross-functional stakeholders, including the Legal community and compliance functions. Your contribution will help Philips be successful thanks to enabling seamless execution of the Procurement roadmap and effective access to external innovation capabilities.

You are responsible for:

  • Developing Philips Business Process framework

  • Defining and driving the roadmap for the future in terms of contracting processes, systems, KPI’s operating models and data

  • Running continuous improvements project on the current landscape

  • Supporting cross functional End2End transformation teams with adoption of best practices, understanding of business requirements and opportunities for improvement and elimination of unrewarded complexity

  • Liaising with global stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement

  • Experience in or good knowledge of suppliers contracting process

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must

  • Experience in running cross functional transformation initiatives

  • Project Management experience

  • Process design (VSM, LEAN)

  • Change Management

  • Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and SAP Ariba will be an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large network of cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives in the same time

  • Innovation and creativity, but also pragmatic approach on the feasibility of proposed ideas

  • Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and passion to learn

  • High level of personal initiative and commitment next to flexibility and ability to work under pressure

  • Mobility and willingness to travel (20-30%)
