Philips Head of Warehousing and Distribution Strategy and Philips Control Tower in Lodz, Poland


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be the lead and inspiration in our transformation journey for the Integrated Supply Chain and you will define our strategy for Integral Warehousing & Distribution globally. You can ensure the efficient and qualitative delivery of products and solutions that will improve people’s lives and have a massive impact on our customer satisfaction.

You are responsible for

  • Defining Integral Warehousing & Distribution strategy

  • Driving and deploying new operational processes & tools together with the external partners as well as internal teams that enhance supply chain efficiency and drive productivity

  • Driving continuous improvement of supply chain performance and reduction of IWD costs in line with AOP targets

  • Driving of logistics process simplifications and improvements for end to end ownership / view and control

  • Setting up the logistics in Direct 2 Consumer channel

  • Reviewing our current distribution center setup (amount, regional presence etc.) and analyzing the impact of the increasing online business

  • Developing data & analytics tools/processes to better analyze product flows and related costs

  • Drive supply chain DfX programs / productivity ensuring that quality, safety and customer service levels

  • Implementing innovative solutions (new technologies) and driving Lean/Daily Management to enhance supply chain performance

  • Deploying new organization of GTEC and PCT (Global Business Services)

  • Strategic selection of logistics provider (in partnership with Business Groups, F&D and Procurement, provider partnership and strategic management globally)

You are a part of

our collaborative global Supply Chain team of international professionals, helping us to develop, build and improve our Integrated Supply Chain. As we value diversity, we have a diverse and multi-functional team and many resources to support you. In this role, you will report to the VP Supply Chain.


As this is a position with global responsibility, we are flexible on your location. Please also note that there is a significant amount of travel included in the role.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Over 15 years of experience in supply chain, in particular warehousing & distribution space in different global companies

  • Solid experiences in management of warehouse, transportation and inventory

  • Understanding W&D needs of customers, Markets and Business Groups

  • Strong transformation & change management skills

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong service provider knowledge

  • Lean proficiency

  • Master degree in relevant field

  • Fluency in English
