As a Team Leader are a part of Philips People Services team which is a is part of Global Business Services EMEA . Philips People Services (PPS) is the organization delivering common HR administrative & payroll services to Philips employees, managers and HR business partners, according to world class standards, in line with business requirements, leveraging PPS Centers and cooperating with external partners; thus leading to increased customer satisfaction and lower cost. PPS is the Human Resources Shared Services organization of Philips. A team of HR professionals delivering HR Services to Philips employees and managers at all stages of the career cycle. PPS delivers cost-effective people services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior HR experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage team supporting assigned countries at Philips Shared Service organization

  • Provide leadership for contact center and admin and payroll team, maintain and monitor assigned resources including reporting and headcount budgeting

  • Take care of team performance, KPIs, targets as well as coordinate the team development (performance appraisal, individual development, coaching, trainings)

  • Manage contact center activities

  • Manage administration and payroll operations

  • Ensure policies, procedures and processes meet the requirements of internal control standards (ICS)

  • Ensure proper customer interactions and follow up on received feedback

  • Ensure proper design and execution of personnel data management, time management, organization management and payroll processes

  • Manages integration activities related to admin and payroll

  • Align with other department heads to deliver consistent HR services

  • Coordinate the cooperation with outsourcing companies (3rd party providers)

  • Contribute to development of organization and staffing plan that complies with the requirements to support service delivery model

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Masters degree

  • Previous relevant managerial experience (4-6 years’)

  • Fluent level of English is essential

  • Fluent level of Polish and/or Italian and/or Spanish would be a strong plus

  • Experience within SSC environment is a strong plus

  • Knowledge of HR area will be an asset

  • Evidence of excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels

  • Ability to motivate and develop itself and others

  • Analytical mindset

  • Process thinking and improvement skills/attitude

  • Strong cultural awareness

  • A proactive approach, working independently to tight deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Good working knowledge of MS office applications
