Philips Supply Chain Senior Manager in Lodz, Poland


In this role, you have the opportunity to

To live your passion for supply chain and develop your expertise in business services by integrating and strengthening Supply Chain organization to optimize our delivery to customers.

You are responsible for

  • Actively driving integration across the E2E value chain by identifying key drivers of value and influencing others to work cross functionally to increase operational excellence and customer value

  • Establishing a responsive, agile supply chain, by translating supply chain strategy into processes and policies

  • Driving an optimal balance of supply and demand through integrated planning and effective materials management to maximize performance and profitability

  • Initiating changes to supply chain management concepts in accordance with the customer requirements leading to continuous improvements across the E2E supply chain

  • Leading and develop the supply chain team to ensure the long and short-term capabilities

  • Driving supply chain transformation towards digital capabilities through transparency/visibility and data driven decision-making

  • Actively driving a culture of continuous improvement leveraging LEAN methodology and Philips Excellence Practices

You are a part of

our Global Competence Center in Łódź , where we centralize our business processes. We bring together supporting roles within HR, Finance, Procurement, Customer Service, Supply Chain and other, enabling you to have a career in an international, cross functional environment. Your future colleagues speak 25+ languages and represent 15+ different nationalities, supporting our operations in 50 countries on a daily basis.

You will be part of Supply Chain team that is supporting Philips EMEA business with effective end-to-end supply chain management, on time distribution, boosting quality through standardized processes, and enhancing competencies, while also ensuring product, solutions and services delivery performance and an excellent lifetime customer experience.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree

  • Min. 7 years of professional experience in people management

  • Proven experience in supply chain management

  • Supply chain related certifications (APICS or relevant) would be an advatage

  • Hands-on experience with Lean techniques and culture

  • Good communication skills at different levels (to factories and regions/customers)

  • Project management skills

  • Fluent in English
