Philips Supply Chain Team Manager in Lodz, Poland


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Have a visible impact on the society by supporting our healthcare customers on daily basis.

You will be responsible for

  • Recruit, manage, mentor and develop the team consisting of Order Managers and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment;

  • Taking ownership and act as escalation point for daily operational and customer challenges and following them through to resolution;

  • Adhere to and manage cost center budget;

  • Performing audit procedures and developing standard audit framework;

  • Develop customer support processes, policies and standards;

  • Active participation in business transformation projects;

  • Actively engage in system development projects together with global IT and business analysts;

  • Work with LEAN capabilities such as Daily Management, Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving;

  • Follow up on daily KPIs within the area of Order Management/Supply Chain and employee engagement;

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree;

  • Min. 3 years previous relevant experience in people management;

  • Professional experience in the fields related to customer service, customer support or supply chain;

  • Fluent English;

  • Preferably LEAN Experience (e.g. Daily Management, PRIDE Problem Solving);

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills;

  • Comprehensive PC skills, knowledge of Excel and SAP would be an advantage;

  • Good organizational skills and attention to details;

  • Problem solving mindset with ability to identify improvement opportunities;

  • Ability to persuade and influence others;
