In this role, you have the opportunity to:

As the TPP Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting end to end delivery of transition projects, by closely working with Function leadership teams, Market & Hub Transition Teams, and other GBS program streams such as Change & Communication, Talent Acquisition etc.

You are responsible for:

Planning

  • Ownership of the Transition Planning for an entire Market and/or Function scope, critical paths, dependency/constraint management

  • Implementing & maintaining processes to secure the accurate FTE estimates, Hub assets, planning (including IT, facilities, infrastructure), and TA planning/hiring/onboarding. Highlighting the risks in a timely manner.

  • Establishing robust planning function in close collaboration with rest of TPP team

Quality/Processes

  • Coordinating continuous improvement of GBS Transition Methodology (Playbook), implement lessons learned, and execute development/training cycle for Transition Managers and other GBS work-streams

  • Ensuring all GBS transitions are compliant with GBS Transition Methodology

  • Executing GBS Transition Quality Management (KPI measurement and management), conducting Transition CI dialogues and other quality management measures and driving improvements

Engagement and Alignment

  • Engaging and building strong relationships and value-adding networks with the range of key stakeholders in the Functions, Markets and Businesses to drive planning and ring-fencing the scope, in close coordination with GBS Transformation Team

  • Driving initial Market, Business, Function engagement and alignment

  • Driving the hiring, onboarding, assigning of transition team staffing

Execution and coordination

  • Orchestrating new demand intake with GBS Transformation Team, following successful validation of the agreed CMRs (critical minimum requirements)

  • Program-managing Transitions via on-time in-full progress reporting, maintaining progress oversight/relationships, identifying and managing risks/ issues, managing escalations and coordinating decision making

  • Guiding Transition Managers to enable on-time, quality, transition execution

  • Tracking progress of the global transition roadmap and directing the corrective actions in the event of under performance

  • Improving current progress, risk & governance reporting; including support towards senior stakeholder communications cascade

Competency Development

  • Identify, setup and maintain Service Catalogue for Transition Process & Planning

  • Building Transition Management practice by arranging regular training programs focused on developing required competencies, in close collaboration with GBS L&D/Philips University

  • Ensuring clear processes for enabling, documenting and accessing organizational learning about transitions, sharing own learning and promoting continuous learning as an example to inspire others

  • Partnering with internal/external networks to drive continuous development and exchange learnings

  • Coaching and mentoring TMs to deliver on commitments and providing clear, constructive feedback to support enhanced performance

You will report to the GBS Transition Process & Planning Manager. You will ensure seamless delivery of GBS Transition Strategy and Roadmap, by partnering with Functions Leadership, Market/Hub Transition Teams and PMO. Your successful track-record of engaging and inspiring those around you will be your greatest asset.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master)

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in transition execution in a captive and/or BPO environment

  • At least 5-10 years of experience managing change projects/programs in complex environments within tight timeframes

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in managing a PMO for large-scale program

  • Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more process domain

  • Advanced stakeholder engagement, communication, interpersonal, and change management skills, honed through leading intercultural teams

  • Results oriented and strong analytical skills

  • Highly energetic and able to inspire others

  • A customer service attitude

  • Travel within Europe (up to 20% of the time)

  • Strong written and spoken English, ideally with one or more additional languages
