Philips Quality and Regulatory Internship in Madrid, Spain


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Join the Quality and Regulatory team at Philips Iberia and work in an innovative company.

You are responsible for

As an intern, you will be supporting the Philips HealthTech Quality&Regulatory department in their different activities such as:

  • Regulatory: notification of new medical devices placed in the market and the request of the Código Nacional de Parafarmacia. Documentation collection, contact with international business lines and different local departments to gather the information, submission to the Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS) and Consejo General de Colegio Oficiales de Farmacéuticos. Support the promotional materials approval request to Consejería de Sanidad de la Comunidad de Madrid.

  • Post Market surveillance activities: support the review of incident reports received from factories and submission to local Competent Authorities. Support the customer feedback process, as well as field corrective actions, involving notification to impacted healthcare facilities.

  • Assist the team in Quality System management applicable to both Health Systems and Personal Health business.

  • Environmental Management System: support in the management of the applicable requirements (i.e. maintain waste registration records, etc.)

  • Supporting the organization and structuring the archive of the department

  • Supporting the department in data analysis

You are a part of

The Quality & Regulatory department, this is great opportunity, both in terms of the understanding and living the company culture and knowledge of the product portfolio.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree in Biomedical, Chemical engineering, Pharmacy or Business with orientation to health care

  • Highly interested in medical affairs and health sector

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (advanced Excel) and SAP is a plus

  • You are a team player, details oriented, multi-tasking and proactive
