Job Description

We are searching for a dynamic Business Transformation Manager to provide high quality operational excellence to our customers and support critical projects throughout Philips Canada. This position is located in Philips Canada corporate office (Markham, Ontario)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Through high quality Business Partnering, you will prioritizes and drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with the Canadian leadership Team to value stream map existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Liaison with the Transformation team on various E2E projects and support delivery of these projects from Canadian standpoint

  • Be the LEAN champion for the Canadian organization and help drive improvements through Daily Management, Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving methods

  • Identify any risks regarding changes and develop a strategy to overcome or address thes

  • Manages the deployment and embedding of new, critical capabilities brought by the business transformation portfolio of programs in line with Canadian needs

  • Maintain CI methodology and tools on Projects

  • Calibrate, assess and coach the organization in determining and driving CI Maturity

  • Support the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools and the CI

  • Deploy change management and communications interventions to actively implement new models or changes into Businesses, within the Canadian organization (Sales, Operations, Services, Market Leadership)

  • Monitor, drive and proactively engage in implementation of the enabling plan employing LEAN and CI process knowledge & business acumen in order to participate in projects where needed

  • Track & report savings and key action status towards Business Transformation

  • Develop Models for quantifying performance impact and gaps assessing multiple financial inputs, not just classical financial reporting tools, to establish program benchmarks

  • Model Philips competencies and Business Transformation ways of working

  • Act as operations leader for the Business Transformation Team, setting the agenda, preparing content and keeping track of actions for leadership meetings

  • Lead communication planning and tools, and change interventions

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience leading and managing large projects from start to finish implementations or conversions; Process improvement assessments / implementation; Turnaround, tight timeline, and/or crisis environments.

  • University Degree in Business or related experience

  • 5 + years’ experience in Change management/ Business Transformation

  • 6+ years of management experience

  • Sound working knowledge of general business processes and organizational framework, such as goals, strategy, culture and structure

  • Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity

  • LEAN Certification is preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills illustrated through current or past work experience

  • Handle complex customer situations with professionalism

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures
