Demo Coordinator, Inventory Control

Job Description

We are in search for a Demo Coordinator to provide direct support to the Sales and Service team. The position will reside at our Philips Canada corporate office located in Markham, Ontario.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

Lead the coordination and logistic flow of medical equipment.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Maintains the production plan for semi-finished products, with a time frame of 1-6 months, based upon the MPS plan

  • Calculates the production capacity and supplies and draws up the production plan on a weekly-monthly basis.

  • Elaborates the production plan per product type and fills the logistic system for each product type and calculate the need of supplies

  • Plans new product introductions

  • Scheduling demos

  • On time delivery

  • Daily direction of the 3PL (Mackie)

  • New product introduction

  • Planning and Trade in coordination for trade-in and disposal of system

  • Demo movement/PO/Egate reports for sales

  • Manage US/IS demo process within Eg

  • Site integrity + data maintenance (Egate)

  • Dismantle + recreate demo systems in Egate

  • Track swos (service work orders completion for upgrades)

  • Handling Disposal/ donation of trade in systems

To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of Medical device experience

  • Inventory Control and Transportation knowledge is required

  • Strong Customer Service experience

  • SAP or similar system experience

  • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong understanding of an Inventory Allocations Process

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills

  • Effective communication both verbally and written with customers and internal and external

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills illustrated through current or past work experience

  • Handle complex customer situations with professionalism

  • Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures

  • Experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining standards for productivity, quality, and service

  • Database management and proficiency in Word and Outlook
