In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this entry-level Marketing position would be responsible for providing administrative support to a dynamic Marketing team, while having ownership of an important sub-segment within our Oral Healthcare portfolio.

This position is located in our Philips Canada corporate office.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

Administrative and Purchase Order support (50%):

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing Team

  • Assist with Invoices creation and processing

  • Manage and own the full Purchase Order process for the Marketing group (e.g. submit all purchase requisition and vendor setups).

  • Support Marketing team on presentations, promotions, in-store displays, and other Marketing initiatives

Marketing and Brand Management (50%):

  • As co-owner of the product strategy & planning process, define and realize a global/regional marketing policy, such that the budgeted targets, as volume and profit, can be realized with and through the defined sales channels.

  • Support and guide the Product Creation Process by market research, the definition of commercial requirement specifications and product specifications.

  • Set up and execute roadmaps for the introduction of new products or updates and the phasing-out of existing products in such a way that an optimal product portfolio is available on the market in time and with low costs of stock.

  • Define the marketing communication plan and budget and make sure that the Marketing Communications deliverables, like packaging, manuals and product information, is available in the required languages, in order to successfully introduce and promote products and compete with the competitors.

  • Develop sales plans in cooperation with the sales channels and key accounts in order to maximize the support to the sales process and set prices and product positioning and to define sales training and sales support.

  • Plan, build and maintain relations with key account or key users in order to stay connected to the developments and trends in the market.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 1 + years + Marketing Experience

  • Marketing degree, BBA preferred

  • Enjoys working in a team environment

  • Works well in a creative and entrepreneurial culture

  • Quick learner, strategic, and able to handle multiple projects
