Philips Application Workflow Consultant in Melbourne (AU), Australia

You will be part of the Philips Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) Clinical Application Team, delivering clinical application training of Cardiology and Haemo solutions to area and major account customers to maintain customer satisfaction and uptake of the Philips Cardiology Portfolio.

You are responsible for

  • Ensures successful clinical and physician adoption of Philips solutions

  • Participates in the development of new solutions (services and/or product functionality)

  • Configures or manages the configuration of Philips solutions to accommodate clinical and/or operational workflow in the customer’s environment

  • Demonstrates, trains and explains functionality of Philips solutions

  • Conducts workflow analysis and consults on workflow changes that need to occur with the implementation of new functionality or solutions

  • Guides the customer in the testing of workarounds, clinical integration and new functionality of Philips solutions

  • Provides training for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple solutions

  • Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure

  • Identify application issues, investigate and resolve issues or identify potential defects, document and submit those according to standard processes

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Active member of the application, education & clinical communities and proactively shares knowledge, experience and lessons learned

  • Files required reports and consistently complies with all required Philips processes

  • Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses

  • Develops, manages and executes training plans

  • Serves in a consultative role with the customer throughout the implementation to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Philips solutions

  • Holds a specialty, or multi-specialty role(s) (such as a specialty in Advanced Visualization software, etc.)

  • May evaluate new products for requirements for service readiness for the clinical applications domain & function

  • May represent clinical applications domain & function during the new product introduction process

  • Analyzes the customer’s existing workflow and facilitates proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensures proper testing of the system and establishes a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Relevant BA/BS degree or higher in a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience

  • Qualifications as a Cardiac Technologies, Cath Lab Technician, Cardiac Sonographer or nurse

  • Good execution capability and strong desire for success

  • Extensive knowledge of clinical workflow, specific to relevant clinical domain

  • Outstanding customer service skills, able to identify customer needs quickly, accommodate the customers’ social style and meet the customers’ practical and emotional needs

  • Strong consultative and facilitation skills

  • Strong project management and able to work independently with little supervision

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill with outgoing character.

  • Professional presentation skills.

  • Good skill for Microsoft office software, fluent English in both written and oral
