Philips Service & Support Leader - Electronic Medical Record - ANZ in Melbourne (AU), Australia

Your Role

As a key member of our TASY business leadership team in Australia and New Zealand, you will expand and lead a team of experts committed to high quality delivery of implementation and support for a full-suite informatics solution, covering areas traditionally referred to PAS, EMR and more. Initially forming and launching the local arm of the global ‘’follow-the-sun support network’’, you will engage and upskill a support team, followed by taking ownership of the implementation resources and management of any relevant outsource partners.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global, fast growing, business unit that develops and implements a full health system informatics offering for hospitals, clinics and general medical practices. Our solution is clinically, operationally, and financially focused, helping our customers deliver on the quadruple aim of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and Management of operational staff initially across support, and later also implementation

  • Forecasting of revenues in conjunction with the commercial team

  • Managing the quality and escalations throughout the solution lifecycle

  • Driving team professionalism and engagement

  • Forward resource planning

  • Developing and/or giving input into the ideation, planning and execution of new business and technical models to better serve Australian and New Zealand customers

  • Participation in presales processes in the presentation of methodology and capabilities around service and support.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with EMR or other health technology solutions, leading a team to deliver exemplary service levels

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Healthcare or Clinical is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience or qualification in ITIL methodology is preferred

  • A passion for the improvement of care through cutting edge informatics

  • The ability to inspire confidence across clinical and non-clinical domains, and question the status quo when appropriate
