A brand new opportunity has arisen, to join our high performing VSAT sales team. As the Solution Sales Manager, and ‘’right hand’’ to our District Manager, you will play an instrumental role in helping to drive and influence the profitable and sustainable growth of a multi-million dollar portfolio, consisting of market leading Medical Devices and Capital Equipment, spread across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity for you leverage your strong commercial sales and leadership experience. As you develop, you will already be on the ideal pathway to progress in to a Senior Management position.
Responsible for building, driving and executing strategies to grow profitability of selected Key Accounts, you will also provide ongoing support to the District Manager, in the execution of broader strategic objectives across the district. Although you will not have any direct reports, as the 2IC within the district, you will be looked upon as a role model, playing an active role in coaching the Account Managers through conception, mapping, tracking and execution of opportunities. You will also be involved with other large scale, multi-solution opportunities within the district, and drive a ‘’one Philips’’ approach.
Well known for your relationship building skills and ability to and engage, you will be required to maintain excellent communication links and relationships with external customers, as well as the entire Philips organization. As you work with both, you will work to formulate unique value propositions that can be implemented to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for our customers and Philips alike.

Degree qualified in Business, Economics, Marketing or Similar
Experience within the Health Technology or Medical Devices industry, with a solid understanding of the nuances within a capital equipment business
Seasoned Sales Professional with a proven background in solution sales and customer centric approach
Demonstrable success in having sold across a number of product portfolios / businesses, with the ability to manage complex deals
Extensive exposure to working with the entire hospital network up to C-Suite level
Superior knowledge of Sales Methodologies and discipline
Previous exposure to leading or coaching sales teams would be highly advantageous
Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge solid relationships within a complex, matrix organization
High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results
