An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Territory Account Manager to join our high performing sales team, with the option of being based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Pharmacy channel business (including Sleep Diagnostic Studies) to assigned accounts. Travelling extensively, across a broad territory spanning Melbourne, Shepperton, Wangaratta etc, everyday day will offer new and exciting challenges, with the opportunity to positively impact hundreds of lives.
Well known for your knowledge of the Community Pharmacy space, coupled with your exceptional customer service skills and ability to influence, you will call on assigned customers to promote and sell, market leading medical products, through consultative selling and strategic negotiation. You will also be heavily involved in customer product demonstrations as well as regular information and training sessions, related to Pharmacies that have agreed to conduct the Sleep Apnoea program in their Pharmacy.
Whether you are coming from a Pharmacy background (sales or as a Pharmacist) or a clinical / nursing background and looking to get in to sales, this opportunity could be ideal for you.
You will be working as part of a highly motivated and passionate team of Account Managers, all with a shared goal of delivering top quality service to customers. More broadly, you will be part of the Philips Healthcare team and have daily interactions with stakeholders from across the business.
Clinical Science background or education
Sound knowledge of the community Pharmacy space (selling or as a Pharmacist)
Experience in working with medical devices
Ability to travel extensively across Melbourne Metro, Shepperton, Wangaratta etc
2 years + sales or account management experience – ideal
Knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (highly desirable)
The ability to absorb clinical and technical information
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels within business
Passion for teaching, training, presenting
The ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and conflicting priorities
Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written
