In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be responsible for value creation in the specific category. This position will work alongside the marketing manager in setting the category strategy / communication direction that is aligned with the Regional Marketing Strategy and plans.
You are responsible for
Managing top and bottom line of the category, ensuring category sales and margin targets are met and managing product portfolio/rationalization/stock
Running the annual business planning cycle for the category: owns the business planning and review cycle; creates and executes marketing plans (in line with central marketing strategy, covering relevant categories); drives effective business planning to achieve better execution and results; translates together with Sales and Trade Marketing annual business plans into Quarterly and Monthly activity/account plans; deploys best in class marketing analysis (mkt share analysis, competition analysis) and define fact based corrective action based on analysis.
Owning the local market introduction process per proposition: develops and executes proposition activation plans in line with category guidelines; owns activation budget for the category; defines and implement digital communication strategy supporting new launches and current local portfolio
Acting as prime interface with Marketing/Category leader in Headquarter and with other markets within regional cluster (Israel, Greece): tracks sales, market shares and margins; be responsible for GFK analysis of own market; drives and shares local market insights (incl. marketing effectiveness), requirements for the category, and activation best practices

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor degree (preferable in Business Admin. with major in Marketing)
2-3 years working experience in FMCG/B2C environment and in developing and activating marketing plans in B2C environments
Knowledge of the digital environment
Language skills: English and Italian
Creative, innovative and a strong team player
High analytical skills (with proven track record) with ability to go deeply into the numbers / Strong Excel knowledge
Aptitude to take ownership and strong orientation to results and to go beyond market requirements and needs
Being passionate about Kitchen & Cooking
