Clinical Operations Specialist

You are responsible for:

  • Execute clinical studies to deliver high quality data to support Philips on time, within budget and in compliance to all applicable regulations and Philips procedures

  • Drive adoption of compliant clinical study execution practices throughout Philips active in clinical studies including research and testing of products involving human beings

  • Support, update and maintain the Clinical Trial Management System application for clinical study execution and reporting.

  • Support Resourcing Tools

  • The Clinical Operations Specialist will support documentation updates for PIL.

  • Will support updates to project files and systems testing documentation managed by Clinical Affairs.

  • Helps support filing and organization of documentation for audit.

  • Supports ordering of study supplies as requested.

  • Supports Mangers and Director of Clinical Operations with set up of financial and time tracking systems

  • Ensures that all study- related materials (documents, supplies, etc.) are appropriately ordered, prepared, shipped, accounted and archived.

  • Helps organize and audit records (Essential Documents) associated with clinical research involving human subjects.

  • Should be able to communicate an identified problem or gap.

  • Able to document system problems including bugs or problematic testing results.

  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting data.

  • Takes a perspective to problems and spots less obvious solutions

  • Has basic knowledge of products/services within the organization.

  • Consults with Associate, Manager or Director before performing tasks.

  • Is provided with detailed assignments and deadlines.

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Self-motivated individual who is able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an efficient manner.

  • Open to receive delegated tasks by senior staff.

  • Able to work effectively with trials stakeholders who need our support.

  • Prior experience providing administrative support in any setting

  • Able to interpret system documentation.

  • Able to communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external collaborators.

  • Able to evaluate documentation and report deficiencies to senior staff.

  • Must be proficient at using Microsoft Office suite of products
