Philips Global Product Manager in Monroeville, Pennsylvania

You are responsible for

  • Drive the creation of solutions (integrated combination of products, apps and services) from idea to market

  • Lead consumer and shopper research to identify and optimize the winning concepts, to integrate these new concepts into strategic product roadmaps, and develop and bring the concept from idea to market

  • Accountable for defining, launching and building profitable consumer products, solutions and platforms that improve people’s lives.

  • Obtain global customer requirements and product specifications via market research activities, market analysis, and on-going communication with key internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the consumers and a thorough understanding of the global marketplace

  • Create and evolve key marketing documents to enable successful alignment (i.e. Idea Brief, Product Strategy Brief, Market Requirements Document, Market Validation Plan, and Product Launch Package).

  • Be the Voice of the Customer within the development team, develop business requirements for new products and solutions; drive alignment of feature/function prioritization to maximize the value proposition Guides the project team in the execution phase of the product introduction

  • Help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing with your marketing views.

  • Interact on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets and ensure a successful product launch that fits with the local market needs.

  • Manage the Life Cycle Management for existing consumer sleep portfolio from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for domain, with ability to clearly convey key messages to executive partners.

  • Drive the market introduction of the new product by leading the Market Introduction Process (MIP) to ensure alignment and best practices for global market introduction planning and execution

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

  • A highly motivated professional with a passion for consumer solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience in an international business environment in the field of consumer marketing, sales or product management

  • Experience in product development (taking products from concept to launch) and product management

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing processes, strategic planning and budgeting

  • Ability to network and influence in a global matrix organization

  • Globally fluent, and able to function effectively across cultures

  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback to drive valuable innovations

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills and ability to convey complex messages to influence colleagues

  • Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and launch targets

  • Comfortable with 25% domestic and global travel
