The candidate will be required to demonstrate proficiency in:

▪ Object oriented design and implementation

▪ Object oriented programming in a language such as C# or Java

▪ JavaScript

▪ AngularJS, Node, and Express

▪ Restful APIs

▪ HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code

▪ AWS

▪ N-tier software architectures

▪ Effective debugging skills

▪ Multi-processing and/or multi-threaded applications

▪ Documenting software requirements and designs

▪ Agile development methodologies

▪ Working effectively with individuals (software as well as non-software) on a project team

▪ Effective communication skills

Experience with medical device development is preferred.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

As a Senior Software Developer you will serve as a major contributor as we transition our Sleep Diagnostics solutions from Windows platforms to the cloud.

You are responsible for

  • Design and architecture of our new web based software solutions

  • Understanding and analyzing requirements

  • Contributing to estimation and task breakdown

  • Understanding existing code base and design in order to perform impact analysis

  • Proactively identifying and resolving design issues

  • Software related document writing and releasing

The Sleep Diagnostics engineering team who is responsible for new product development and maintenance of all of our sleep diagnostics solutions. Our team plays an integral role in the continued success and growth of our Sleep and Respiratory organization. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with object oriented design and implementation with C# or Java

  • JavaScript, ES6 preferred

  • AngularJS 2+, NodeJS, and Express

  • AWS Deployment and Infrastructure

  • Experience with N-tier software architectures and writing cross-browser compatible code

  • Effective debugging skills
