You are responsible for:

  • Design and implementation for features in new and existing Windows and Web based software solutions. This will include Life Cycle Management including:

  • Design

  • Requirements

  • Documentation

  • User Experience Design

  • Debugging

  • Testing

  • Leading the Development of an Application based on the PAAS Mendix Platform utilized for a recent acquisition.

  • Understanding existing Mendix code base and design in order to recommend changes for an existing product line.

  • Working to develop a migration strategy to incorporate the PaaS application into an existing Philips Cloud Application.

  • Understanding and analyzing requirements

  • Contributing to estimation and task breakdown

  • Proactively identifying and resolving design issues

  • Software related document writing and releasing

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field

  • At least 5 years of experience with object oriented design and implementation with C# or Java.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, ES6, AngularJS 2+, NodeJS, and Express a plus

  • Effective debugging skills
