In this role, you have the opportunity to
Accurately and efficiently, fulfilling customer orders. As well, you will print, pick, pack and enter manifestation data on all orders.
You are responsible for
Recording items taken from inventory and documenting once that is completed.
Completing orders as part of a team or individually: picking, wrapping or packing orders in shipping containers.
Addressing, labeling, computing freight rates and recording the weight and cost of each shipment.
Picking items listed on an order, placing into cartons and verifying location/unit of measure/product against pick tickets.
Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying labels, such as inventory codes, so that inventories can be located quickly and easily.
Following all applicable procedures outlined within the quality system and adhering to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards in the Distribution Center.
Assuring accurate, efficient, cost effective completion of customer orders with a sense of urgency.
Working overtime is an essential function of this 2nd shift position (hours: 3:15-11:15 PM) (can include Saturdays and 10 to 12 hour shifts).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)
1 + year of experience in an automated warehouse or distribution center environment.
Basic Computer skills required (Microsoft Office and SAP)
1 + year of experience operating Material Handling Equipment or Powered Industrial Trucks (forklift, picker, pallet jack, etc.) (a plus)
Detail minded, team oriented, comprehension of instruction and communication, Customer Focus,
Physical Requirements; this position requires the ability to move on a continuous basis in order to efficiently get to other work areas, frequent lifting up to 20lbs and infrequently up to 60 pounds with ability to reach and ability to use fine manipulation skills.
