In this role, you have the opportunity to support manage daily activities in service, test, and/or material logistics within the service center unit. Drive cultural and operational changes in order to differentiate the service centers within the Philips organization.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Direct the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees; recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Typically reports to senior management level incumbents.
Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelors degree in technical area required; diversified work experience in an operational environment (manufacturing, warehouse, distribution or service).
High level of prior interaction with SAP experience, MS Office
Demonstrates ability to utilize resources in achieving goals.
Capability and experience in electronics repair, including AC and DC circuit theory, application, and use of related diagnostic instruments. Experience in regulated industry preferred.
Ability to work well with other people, including remote teams with a different focus within the larger scope of Philips’ business.
Ability to lead others and drive the focus of customer needs; able to adapt to change and challenge the status quo.
Ability to provide thoughtful, reasoned explanations for improvement suggestions; possess positive belief in the Kaizen process and Lean methodology.
Possess an increased ability to take on multiple tasks and drive them to completion.
