In this role, you have the opportunity to…
Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys and paralegals working on time sensitive projects. Position provides support to team members in multiple locations.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Perform secretarial and administrative/clerical duties as they relate to legal work for multiple department attorneys who are local or in other offices. Provide support, including scheduling, correspondence, and general office tasks.
Meet critical deadlines while juggling multiple tasks across multiple reporting lines.
Maintain confidentiality and attorney-client privilege of legal matters.
Word processing, spreadsheet, and database management expertise, such as Microsoft Office Suite, contract databases, and legal outsourcing databases.
Possess excellent client-contact, drafting, proofing and typing skills.
Organize and maintain legal documents, legal matter working files, electronic databases, intranet websites and SharePoint sites. Input data and prepare reports using databases.
Organize and schedule meetings, training sessions, order department supplies, process purchase orders, process invoices and perform reconciliation on invoice processing.
Arrange domestic and international travel with company’s online travel booking system and prepare expense reports.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A minimum 3 years of experience providing secretarial and administrative support to attorneys, preferably in an in-house law department or law firm setting.
Strong word processing, spreadsheet, and database management expertise.
Takes ownership and responsibility on projects and consistently drives them to completion.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to learn use of new databases and technologies as may be necessary.
Experience working on complex and confidential documents.
