You are responsible for

  • Manages an deploys the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws , Philips General Business principles and other policies.

  • Ensures manufacturing performance, volume, quality and cost goals are met by utilizing efficient methods

  • Executes and/or support projects, goals, and metrics and drive continues improvement efforts. Initiates/sponsors production dominated improvement projects.

  • Represents production function in cross-functional projects.

  • Employee has in depth knowledge of all diverse work in particular field/area/work group

  • Employee has the skill set to act as all round operator as well as leading the group

  • Works together with disciplines outside own group.

  • Recognize the existence of a problem

  • Identify data/information needed to solve a problem.

  • Understand the underlying relationship among facts and connections between issues. Recognize important gaps in existing information.

  • Communicate the problem to appropriate personnel/department, if needed escalates to Production Manager.

  • Follow workplace health and safety instructions and immediately report/escalate any issues Stop process if safety or quality is at risk.

  • Accountable for the preparation and execution of one or more manufacturing production processes to deliver safe, compliant, quality products and services to our customers. This can be both in-house as outsources activities.

  • Leads the production unit, related processes and staff in the execution of activities that lead to world-class operational performance.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School Graduate or equivalent and 3+ years in manufacturing/production environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Leadership experience preferred
