In this role, you have the opportunity to
The candidate will have the opportunity to interact directly with the customers, provide advanced technical support and administer enterprise software application that support and add value to Respironics’ ventilators and devices that treat OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea).
You are responsible for
Provide in-depth analysis and resolution of complex software issues being experienced by customers
Defining, tracking and communicating key customer problems, including facilitation of technical deep-dive, root cause analysis etc. with other technical leaders/members
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure customer problems are completed to resolution
Owning patient data integration and reverse integration with customer and billing provider databases
Developing daily/monthly/quarterly reports for external and internal customers
Developing monitoring tools for enterprise software and associated requirements and designs
Serving as a subject matter expert to ensure there is appropriate monitoring throughout our enterprise software applications
Proactively identifying and mitigating technical problems
You are a part of
Philips Sleep and Respiratory organization that generates more than a billion dollars a year in revenue. Our customer-facing application developed by this organization is critical to customers and is, in many instances, the deciding factor in the buying process. The Field Engineering group is focused on identifying software issues and needs experienced by customers and developing software solutions to address those needs in a timely fashion
This role will initially be based in our Murrysville office. Philips will be relocating this office to a new site in Bakery Square , one of the premier locations in Pittsburgh. This is a very exciting time to be joining Philips, as this new location will be the Sleep & Respiratory Center of Excellence. The new office is set to open in late 2020.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or similar technical field
2+ years of professional experience building and/or supporting Enterprise applications using Java/C#/Ruby
Experience with SQL and Perl scripting
Experience with Relational databases such as MSSQL, MySQL
Experience with operating systems such as LINUX/UNIX
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience with source control tools such as Git, TFS
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship fora work-authorized visa.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within commuting distance to this office
Experience with any of the following will be considered a plus:
Application Performance Monitoring tools such as New Relic, App Dynamics
Experience with issue/defect tracking tools like Rally, JIRA
Experience in medical related products
Working directly with customers to resolve complex issues
