In this role, you have the opportunity to

You will operate relatively autonomous within procedures, methods and techniques, as a Technician, while performing repetitive and non-repetitive assignments.
You are responsible for
Conducting failure investigations on less complex products, while performing the rework and repair.
Determining the troubleshooting approach from known solutions based upon technical knowledge.
Documenting investigations and rework properly in the SAP Quality Notification system.
Navigating through the Quality System to find appropriate procedures.
Effectively communicating with operators, fellow technicians, engineers and supervisors as required.
Being actively involved in the departments QCDSP system and addressing basic problems through QEKs and 5Ys.
Working independently while under supervision, following explicit verbal and written instructions while recognizing a need to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.
Assisting in projects for development and continuous improvement as needed.
This is a second shift position (hours 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM)
You are a part of
The Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) business, which exists to restore natural sleep and breathing. You will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team in the Murrysville, PA location.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associate degree (in Electrical Engineering - preferred) OR a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience
Experience conducting failure investigations on electrical or medical device products
General understanding of assigned product test stations and the ability to isolate minor to complex issues involving the test station and the product.
General ERP/MES experience (SAP a plus), with the ability to gather and provide data from SAP, open and close Quality Notifications (QN’s), find documents and understand various fields related to QN's
Minimum computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to receive feedback from supervisors and peers for self-correction and improvement
