In this role, you have the opportunity to
Repair and harvest individual components for use by Philips Field Service Engineers and customers
You are responsible for
Providing technical support to customer on operational aspects of medical equipment
Diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures
Repairing circuit boards at a component level
Testing components in clinical equipment test bay
Prioritizing workload according to business needs and documenting repairs
Preparing reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues
You are a part of
Philips’ multi-vendor line of business, All Parts. All Parts repairs and reconditions medical equipment to better service customers
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associates degree in electronics or similar field OR specialized biomedical repair training (e.g. military or on-the-job-training)
1 or more years' of circuit-board component-level repair experience
Low-voltage and high-voltage repair experience
Self-starter that can work with limited supervision
Be able to recognize business needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Strong communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to operate effectively in a team environment
