In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive Operational Excellence through the deployment of Continuous Improvement methodologies throughout the End-to-End customer value chains within the GBS hub. Establish a Lean Thinking and learning organization through Change Management and Lean Leadership. Establish a culture of Daily Management and Problem Solving in all areas of the business with ongoing coaching throughout all levels of the organization. This role will establish a lean culture and execute on a mutually agreed Continuous Improvement deployment plan for the hub.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Responsible for the development and implementation of performance metrics to provide the management team the necessary insights to drive a high level of performance to meet customer needs and expectations
Works closely with the Business Transformation organization to ensure proper BT deployment in place within the hub
Drive continuous improvements in the hub via standardization via end2end optimization, lean, advanced technologies and digitalization
Owns the Project Management and Continuous Improvement resources within the Nashville hub
Supports leadership in the implementation and execution of different projects for the hub
Operates as the Lean Champion within the hub and develops Lean capabilities across the hub
Works closely with the process lead and functional leader to drive cross value chain E2E integration
Establishes Daily Management reporting for Hub Leadership team and provides coaching on Lean and Continuous Improvement processes

The Lean Champion reports to the Continuous Improvement/PMO Senior Leader in the Global Business Services hub and is dedicated to the deployment of Continuous Improvement initiatives across the hub. The Lean Champion is part of the Global CI network of Lean Champions and CI/PMO members.
This position will be a part of our Global Business Services (GBS) group responsible for leading operational execution, reducing complexity and increasing efficiencies as the in-house team that continuously improves performance to better support our customers. We are looking to build a new team in Nashville of passionate, inspirational, collaborative and diverse professionals empowering excellence around the world for Philips to achieve our mission to improve the lives of 3B people a year by 2030.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent degree of education and experience is preferred
5+ years of relevant experience managing Lean initiatives and standardization of processes
Certified Lean Advanced or preferably Lean Master and/or Master Black Belt is highly preferred
Strong background in Lean business transformation experience in a corporate office environment, shared services experience is a plus
Proven track record in building a lean culture and a passion for Continuous Improvement
Ability to enthuse colleagues in Lean Thinking as a business necessity
Ability to take a hands-on and pragmatic approach
Demonstrated experience leading large projects
Ability to be self-critical (Hansei)
Experience with Change management is highly preferred
Strong Communication Skills
