In this role, you have the opportunity to
You have the opportunity to build a regional learning delivery hub and act as the regional leader on learning delivery as part of the global Philips University. In this role you will be the link between the global Philips University and local business and HR leaders. You will manage the regional learning budget to ensure the right learning is happening at the right time!
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Build relationships with (senior) stakeholders in your region. Build understanding of the cultural context of the hub
Manage the regional learning delivery budget and ensure top down programs are taken into account in budgets
Develop a deep understanding of the growth plans and priorities of the markets in your region and build and execute activation plans accordingly
Shape the learning delivery agenda as part of the broader people plan for the markets inside your hub region with the global team as well as the HR Business Partners in your region, through effective needs analysis and prioritization
Partner and provide guidance on hub requirements to our development team for new offering development to ensure the global portfolio meets your hubs requirements. Create any required regional specific offerings yourself or with local vendors if necessary
Understanding the Philips University curriculum & University operating model and set up
Deal with incoming operational questions, provide support where needed
Initiating continuous improvement activities on local and global operations, using daily management
Active participation in global team meetings and projects, ensure your hub works according to global processes and standards
Reporting into the global head of learning delivery, as part of the corporate Philips University you are responsible for managing your regional hub team
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
BA/Ma Degree in relative field
A minimum of 10 years work experience, of which several years in a comparable multinational / culture environment
Experience in a Leaderships-position: budget-ownership and project ownership
Candidate needs to be strong and feel at ease with decision making responsibility
Experience in a Managerial role: managing a team (direct reports)
Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders in challenging / political landscape
Experience in the field of Learning or HR would be preferred.
Strong communication skills, both in written as well as in verbal communication
Preferably work experience on or with more than 1 continent
