Philips Senior Software Engineer in Netanya, Israel


In this role, you have the opportunity to p articipate in the entire software development life cycle developing a sophisticated medical application.

You are responsible for the development process including design, documentation, implementation, testing & debugging and automation.

You are a part of Philips IGT (Image Guided Therapy) Devices business group is a leader in intravascular imaging, physiology and therapy.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science, mathematics or equivalent

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing object-oriented applications under Windows environment

  • Profound C++ knowledge- mandatory

  • Familiar with UI frameworks

  • Robust coding, debugging, optimizing and testing skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead feature/application development

  • Highly motivated team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

  • Technical curiosity and fast learning in new fields

  • Excellent spoken and written English

  • Experience in developing for Software/Hardware integrated systems (such as medical devices)-advantage

  • Experience and knowledge in Image processing-advantage

  • Experience with CI/CD-advantage

  • Experience working in agile methodology-advantage

  • GPU Parallel programming (CUDA / OpenCL )-advantage
