Invivo - Field Clinical Apps Specialist
The Field Clinical Applications Specialist 3 is responsible for a variety of on-site and remote clinical applications support activities related to Invivo interventional, Solutions product line of software.
You are responsible for:
Support customers, vendors, and business partners on education and training in regards to optimize clinical performance of their Invivo interventional, fMRI, DynaCAD, UroNav and Lung Cancer Solution software products
Troubleshooting image quality problems related to scan protocols/product use and assisting customers with the use of Invivo products for optimum clinical performance. This support can be in the form of remote (phone / e-mail) or on-site application support for Invivo customers, Invivo Sales and Field Service Personnel.
Escalation of product issues for direct and OEM customers in order to document possible problems and suggest product improvement. Provide feedback to the Customer Service and Support personnel and identifies key issues or problems on the customer side by utilizing Invivo Quality System processes (i.e. Costumer Complaint forms, DCN). Regularly enters support issues using approved support ticket management tool.
Collect clinical data and assist Invivo Marketing with the development of clinical marketing materials. Assist in coordination of staff education and training seminars on breast and neurological MRI and other interventional and Solutions product line for clinical applications
Communicating all relevant customer information including product and/or customer problems or opportunities to Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Response Team and Technical Support
Completes paper work, documentation, and administrative tasks per organization policy and procedures (i.e. trip reports, expense reports, RTU, timecards).
Works effectively with all Field Service Specialists, Customer Service Center, Sales Representatives, Clinical Specialists, Customers, in-house Quality Assurance, R&D, and Manufacturing personnel to enhance Customer experience.
Actively pursues tasks projects, and ways to enhance their team and the business beyond their day to day responsibilities.
Travel 90% of the time
Authorized to work in the United States. Valid Driver’s License and Passport. Ability to travel internationally when required
All other duties as assigned
Provide remote “clinical” applications training for all products as part of the warranty entitlements for the first year.
Design and sustains the Invivo/Sentinelle coil image and protocol library.
Support new product implementations (NPIs) by means of working with development and/or Marketing teams, responsibilities include signing off for Customer service in the PRP process, supporting the product in the field and cross train colleagues on NPI products via team meetings either remotely or on-site.
Developing OEM relationships, coordination of yearly workshops for all OEM’s and being point for escalations.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Exceptional MRI and CT applications knowledge and familiarity with digital imaging workstation products
Effective training skills in a clinical environment
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
Excellent customer relations skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deal effectively with a challenging work schedule
Highly proficient with MRI scanning procedures, including use of tools and applications software, on at least one of Siemens, GE, and Philips systems and willingness to learn to operate others.
Ability to learn software packages and work with networking systems.
Patience and clear communication skills are required to work with individuals and tactfully assist doctors, clinicians, technologists, radiologists and researchers to execute processes carefully.
A.S. Degree in the field of general or advanced radiography or equivalent registry accreditation status as required.
Experience in MRI and/or CT applications from either the clinical or research perspective including familiarity with common image generation and data analysis tools required.
Ultrasound Urology experience preferred.
Experience with Invivo DynaCAD Breast, Prostate and UroNav preferred.
Experience with network familiarity and Microsoft operating systems and PC-based computer applications.
Software, data, and hardware/software system troubleshooting experience is highly desirable.
Experience will be considered for all candidates without an advanced degree in relevant field.
3 years MRI experience in clinical setting (experience will be considered for all candidates without an advanced degree in relevant field).
Experience in providing applications training on functional, Breast, Prostate, UroNav and/or Lung (MRI / CT) a plus
