Philips Sales, Government Sales Specialist -Connected Care (East) in New York, New York

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work with the Philips Enterprise Government Team, which enables advanced solutions providing cutting-edge capabilities, and recurring efficiencies to the Veterans Administration. You will initiate sales of current commercially available products with a Connected Care focus to bridge business development and account executive capability on the connected care story tied to the annual growth number. In addition, you will be CIO relationship experts and evangelize our virtual care story in VA and DOD. Philips aims to honor veterans with skilled, compassionate healthcare. In an effort to provide integrated care across Veterans Integrated Services Networks (VISNs), our customers will not compromise. This role covers the East territory, (VISNs 1, 2, 4, & 5). The ideal location for a candidate to live is New York, New England area, Philadelphia or DC.

You are responsible for

  • Attainment of assigned Revenue Targets

  • Coordinating customer interactions and strategies within assigned Gov. Facilities.

  • Providing field level customer interactions and guidance to all Philip’s Team members.

  • Maintaining customer profiles with assigned accounts. Installed base data and equipment/vendor types.

  • Providing timely and accurate reports when requested.

  • Educating sales Teams on trends and policies within the Gov. Facilities and contract compliance.

  • Managing funnel data and forecasting in assigned accounts.

  • Promoting and represent all Philip’s Healthcare solutions within assigned accounts. “One Philip’s” approach.

  • Development of customer relationships in assigned accounts

  • Territory requires up to 60% time spent in field.

  • Coordinating facility sales team, insuring engagement and execution.

  • Coordinating all activities with assigned Philip’s team members, RSM’s and Gov. Business Leadership.

  • Adherence to all Philip’s HealthCare’s code of conduct and ethic policies.

  • Attainment of assigned AOP targets

  • Attainment of assigned AOP targets

  • Patient Care & Monitoring Solutions: Patient Monitoring (MM&S), Medical Consumables (MCS), Vital Signs Solutions (VSS), Therapeutic Care (TC), Emergency Care and Resuscitation (ECR)

  • Enterprise Imaging & Cardiology Informatics (EICI): IntelliSpace PACS (EII), Cardiology Informatics (CAI), IntelliSpace Portal (ICAP)

  • EICU and eTrac

  • HSDP (Health Suite Digital Platform)

  • HTS

  • PHM

You are a part of

The Government Sales Specialist- Connected Care is a growing team of (5) across the US. This position reports to the National Government Sales Leader. This role works closely with an existing team of (10) Government Strategic Account Managers within the US, aligned to (2) Gov’t Strategic Account Managers, respectively within your territory.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or combination equivalent experience and education required

  • Minimum 5+ years sales experience in professional sales

  • Proven ability to make strategic and tactical business judgments

  • Proven strategic sales techniques and solid presentation skills

  • Strong Clinical/Technical Product knowledge

  • Strong business leadership skills

  • Proven ability to find creative solutions to customer and sales issues

  • Strong interpersonal skills; Strong negotiation skills required

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills required

  • Highly self-motivated, goal oriented individual
