Philips Respiratory Sales Specialist - Philips Ventilation Solutions (PVS) (Missouri/Nebraska) in Omaha, Massachusetts

Be an integral part of this dynamic team as an experienced Respiratory Sales Specialist. You are responsible for the following:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales objectives as defined by sales management

  • Drive efficiencies within role, to include management of business development and travel expenses

  • Be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships while maintaining records of sales activities, schedules, and customers

  • Drive brand preference for respiratory medical devices and accessories through increased face time and visibility with the respiratory stakeholders in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehab facilities, Hospitals, LTAC’s, and VA facilities (discharge planning, respiratory departments, and purchasing)

  • Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge, focused on but not limited to Non-Invasive and Invasive Ventilation, Respiratory Drug Delivery, oxygen and Patient Interface

  • Conduct sales meetings, training and product demonstrations for ventilation products, airway clearance and other respiratory products

  • Facilitate and deliver CEU Workshops

  • Facilitate and deliver COPD disease state management program

  • Establish and follow up on preference trials for Philips Respironics

  • Be responsive to technical and clinical inquiries from patients and clinical staff (including in-service of products)

  • Take lead in responding to competitive objections to products

  • Improve understanding of clinical applications and use scenarios for respiratory products in targeted markets

  • Assist with training & troubleshooting of ventilation and related respiratory assist devices

  • Look for selling opportunities for other Philips Respironics products and notify other teammates of the opportunity

  • Be accountable to establish sustainable market advantage

  • Reach call points that influence physician scripts for Philips Respironics respiratory products

  • Maintain CRM & BI reports of territory, forecasting, customer order potential, status of sales in progress and provide feedback to management on a regular basis.

  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the dynamics of reimbursement in all of our call points (DME, hospital, ACO, SNF, LTAC) what drives our products

  • Understand the care cycle from Hospital to Home and how Philips Respironics products can benefit and will be sold in this space

You are a part of :

The Midwest Respiratory Specialist Sales team reporting to the Director of Respiratory Sales & partnering closely with the regional account management team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • BS/BA level degree in a discipline related to sales, marketing, general business, or clinical studies or certifications that are tied to the core market segments of the company, preferred.

  • Strong clinical background required. Sales experience preferred.

  • Will work with the guidance of Respiratory Sales Directors and the Regional Sales Directors, to develop technical competencies and customer relationships in efforts to grow respective territory.

  • Customer Focus, Action Orientation, Results, Time Management, Negotiating, Interpersonal Savvy, Business Acumen, Listening, Drive for Results, Presentation Skills and Working in a teaming environment.

  • Travel is extensive within assigned territory – up to 75%.
