Philips QC Laboratory Technician in Ontario, California

The Analytical Lab Technician will be responsible for performing and documenting routine analytical testing of Oral Healthcare products in the Quality Control analytical laboratory.

You are responsible for

  • Performs routine QC analysis of in-process samples, finished products and stability samples by applying problem solving skills and basic knowledge of instrumental analysis.

  • Maintains the QC lab in accordance with cGMP/company requirements

  • Maintains data documentation and monitor product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications

  • Carries out routine and assigned projects in a timely fashion under minimum supervision to meet deadlines, according to GMPs, SOPs, and test methods

  • Works to maximize efficiencies through multitasking to increase productivity while consistently producing error-free work

  • Performs OOS investigations and summarize the investigations in OOS reports

  • Performs equipment qualifications and calibration procedures to ensure the equipment is providing accurate and precise measurements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or other closely related field preferred

  • 1+ years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical/ medical device industry.

  • Experience working in a GMP or GLP regulated environment

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability; detail-oriented

  • Good verbal and written skills, good learning attitude

  • Strong organization, record keeping, data analysis, and computer skills

  • Team work oriented with good interpersonal skills
