Philips Account Manager - Sleep & Respiratory Care in Oslo, Norway
Acts as a single point of contact for customer accounts for Philips product portfolio.
Prepares the tactical account plan in line with account strategy in the region and implements the sales strategy. Responsible for filling the funnel management tool (SFDC).
Accountable for achieving budgeted sales volumes, prices and profit margin and sales forecast at a specified number of customers and accountable for managing the sales orders .
Coordinates internal and external resources to obtain objectives involving local sales force and marketing support (e.g. Product Sales Specialist, Trade & Shopper Marketers, MarComs and/or Application Specialists).
Contributes to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies.
Systematically analyzing and reporting of sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends.
Drives continuous improvement via Lean

As Account Manager you will be responsible for the sales of Philips Sleep and Respiratory products. You will work with our product line within RDD (Respiratory Drug Delivery) our nebulizers and spacers, PEP devices and Peakflow Meters. Your customers are hospitals, ICU`s, long-term acute care facilities, sub-acute care facilities, Pharmacies and also end users.
You will work close with customers and their network and be responsible for the development and maintenance of customer relationships as well as identifying new customer segments. Often we are working in cooperation with the hospital staff during the treatment of the patient. This gives you lot of opportunities to build strong relationships with your customer and work with your products in the clinical environment in close setting also with patients.
For tender business you will play an active role in shaping, managing and execute on tender outcome and in close team work and engagement with your colleagues
You are responsible for
Manage, develop and maintain the relationships with hospitals and relevant clinical personal in order to drive downstream therapeutic business.
Be responsible for pre-call planning and preparation, managing the sales call and follow-up activities, including written plans and usage of CRM System.
Be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships.
Maintain records of sales activities, schedules and customers.
Increase market share within RDD business
Prepare for tenders and ensure we execute on the outcome
Timely follow up on customer interaction and plan for the future using account plans for intense planning and execution
Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and articulate this into clinical value
Be on top of competitive intelligence within own area
You are a part of
You will be a part of a team consisting of sales, customer and commercial support and warehouse. You will report directly to the Country Manager for Norway within Sleep and Respiratory Care. In addition you will work cross functional with Nordic marketing, Clinical Science and the full Nordic Team with opportunities to work with Nordic colleagues and with projects across boarder.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Relevant educational background, preferably from a clinical environment, e.g. Nurse, Clinical specialist with additional commercial background
Minimum 5 years proven track record from Sales / Account Management within Sleep/Respiratory field in Pharma or medical devices
Strong stakeholder management and account management skills
Understanding of healthcare system and ability to articulate clinical value to customers
Ability to work independent and comfortable in having presentations
Fluent in Norwegian and English language
Willingness to travel
