In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work in tandem with the Project Manager, assisting in the Order Realization Process (ORP) and having an active involvement in Order Acquisition Process (OAP). As the Project Engineer, you have the joint-responsibility of ensuring that projects are executed on time, on budget and to the required Philips Q&R standard.

You are responsible for

Supporting Order Acquisition Process (OAP) - Site planning

  • Work closely together with the Project Manager and Sales team / Key Account Manager to support the OAP

  • Perform site assessments to understand the local situation, layout and the real customer need

  • Seamless interface between customer and business centre aiming to achieve “right first time’’ solution planning and support on-time delivery

Supporting Order Realization Process (ORP) - Installation Project

  • Be the main interface during the project implementation cycle towards the customer

  • Report out to Project Manager, Project stakeholder and co-manage on

  • Potential Risks

  • Issues

  • Change Requests

  • Scheduling deviation (forecast accuracy)

  • Assist the Project Manager in the creation of project schedule and milestone date/planning in project management tool (Clarity)

  • Ensure/organize all required materials, resources and activities are ordered, planned and executed (respectively) as per the project plans.

  • Oversee the performance of local 3rd party vendors and ensure their KPI are met.

  • Co-host weekly review of the project plan with all stakeholders, both internally and externally

  • Support the Project Manager to ensure Customer Acceptance (and signed handover document).

  • Perform Transition-To-Support (TTS) to local support team and ensure effective hand-over of projects to the support team.

Overseeing Quality & Regulatory (Q&R) matters

  • Support the Project Manager in reviewing quotation / solution developed for the customer for compliance and feasibility

  • Support the Project Manager for site planning / preparation compliance to product reference data

  • Execute hold requirements, at the instruction of the Project Manager, in the case that Line of Business launch a hold impacting a modality being delivered or installed in one of his projects

  • Monitor, on behalf of the Project Manager, the compliance of local third parties used for installations

  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned Q&R training in a timely manner

You are a part of

The Project Management Team under the Commercial Operations and Supply Chain Management function, responsible for pre-sales project site research, project coordination/executive and post-sales project delivery for the Monitoring Analytics & Therapeutic Care products and solutions. This role reports to the Head of Commercial Operations and Supply Chain Management, Malaysia and will work closely with the Regional Project Lead as well as other local Project Managers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Diploma or Degree level education or equivalent

  • 2 – 3 years of project management experience in an IT &/or Engineering environment.

  • Experience in working within cross functional teams

  • Preferably having knowledge of site preparation and planning per modality, relevant product specifications room requirements (e.g. support clinical workflow)

  • Preferably with an understanding of Supply Chain Processes

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language

  • Able to travel about 60% & higher in peak period.
