This position is responsible for the Quality Management System in Philippines. He/She is responsible for Quality improvement projects initiated at Market level. The role will have the responsibility for the promotion of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Oversee the products/licenses approbation processes.
1) Q&R Management
Establish Quality plans (with relation to activities and resources), Projects (Global & Regional) and procedures supporting commitment to quality in the organization
Determine the quality requirements and how they are met for the organization. Ensure the above is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels
Responsible for ensuring the Processes and initiatives are compliant with Global Policies and with all applicable external standards and regulatory requirements
Accountable for managing the Q&R team projects and programs; document responsibility and authority of resources and interrelation of quality organization
Responsible for Q&R related KPI monitoring and roll up of relevant data into management review.
Ensure on-time products approbation in the market to support the AOP budgets.
Responsible on the implantation of post-market activities and requirement from the Competent Authority.
2) Quality System Management
Responsible for the maintenance and deployment of improvements from the Philips Healthcare Quality System.
Responsible to collect Markets KPI data and process as input for Management Review.
Manage Q&R compliance to assure the assigned Philip’s products & services meet ISO, local regulatory Quality Management System requirements.
Manage deployment (development when necessary) of training programs to meet the needs for field employees such as Q&R requirements, customer complaints and safety incident reports.
Maintains procedures for conducting quality audits; establishes procedures for implementing CAPAs and monitoring their effectiveness.
Implementation of MultiMarket OneQMS procedures.
Review and maintain instructions for servicing and verification of work; establish a process to ensure all service documentation is complete and maintained.
Overview Internal and external audit program.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, ideally with at least 8 -10 years or more of experience in Quality and/or Regulatory Affairs.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an MNC environment
Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in Problem solving skills for complex quality issues
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Access and Excel .
Strong organizational skills and take initiatives.
Must be a team player and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Must be able to set goals and accomplish them within set time schedule and budget.
