Philips Inside Sales Account Manager- Sleep & Respiratory Care in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

As a member of the Sleep and Respiratory Care team, the Inside Sales Representative focuses on educating customers on a wide array of Respironics products and services that can enhance their business success. The Inside Sales Representative develops and presents business solutions while maintaining ongoing relationship with key decision-makers. Position has the responsibility for a defined region within North America.

Your Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed quarterly quotas as provided by your manager.

  • Direct Clinical Specialist and Respiratory Sales Specialists within their assigned geography.

  • Represent and promote the full line of company product offerings contained in the Sleep and Home Respiratory Division to defined territories and customers within a geographic region.

  • Make sales calls, ask for orders, work with customers to expand business opportunities, ensure products are properly presented and that customers are aware of product changes, new releases, etc.

  • Work with internal business partners on price quotes, shipping, resolving order problems, etc.

  • Maintain CRM records of territory, customer order potential, status of sales in progress and provide feedback to management on a regular basis.

  • Regularly call on assigned customers to promote and sell therapeutic products through power messaging, consultative selling and strategic negotiation.

  • Communicate a deep knowledge of our resupply services to applicable customers.

  • Enter sales orders into SAP system.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, BS/BA level degree in a discipline related to sales, marketing, general business, or clinical studies or certifications that are tied to the core market segments of the company, preferred.

  • 3+ years of either professional inside or field sales experience.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Must possess a demonstrated ability to use office equipment including telephone, fax, scanners, copiers, etc.

  • Strong computer skills with practical experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred, Medical and SAP experience is a plus.

  • Consultative selling skills, required.
