Philips Lead Business Process Expert (Order Management) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be responsible from initial Design-Build-Deploy focus, to driving sustainable impact within the Philips Business Processes.

You are responsible for

Your responsibilities in Integrated Business Process Framework for Order2Fullfilment (Deliver)/ Order Management, with your team of Business Process Experts (BPE’s) you will support or lead;

Design : new and improved order management capabilities based on standard processes & systems

Build/Test: capabilities including (IT) tools, training, data & analytics

Deploy: capabilities to B | M | F securing process standardization and adoption in full Compliance.

  • Understand all elements of order management ranging from e-commerce up to large scale capital investment project orders.

  • Bring in operational expertise and knowledge on state-of-the-art order management processes, transaction and execution and translate into process improvement.

  • Stringent Deployment, adoption & adherence of standard processes & Systems (PIL)

  • Secure Process (PEPF) implementation in MS / Quality Management System

  • Change Management & standard Training Delivery assuring people readiness & compliance to regulatory requirements

  • Monitor and manage process performance and adherence to standard ways of working

  • Monitor Process quality at benchmark level (APQC/Hackett)

  • Steer process performance (leading KPIs) to deliver ambition (lagging KPIs) via rigorous daily management

  • Drive employee adherence to standard ways of working (e.g process mining, kamishibai tool)

  • Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Management via established communities of practice

  • Process Continuous Improvement embedded in local daily management & problem solving practices

  • Delta functionality deployments structurally managed (IT system upgrade/releases)

  • Established Communities of Practice securing:

  • Cross Functional communication (SME/BPE)

  • Process Change Request engagements

  • Knowledge Management/Best Practice Sharing

You are a part of

The global Business Process Owner (BPO) community. You will be working side by side with the business, markets and enabling functions to drive performance by standardizing processes.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management and/or Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences.

  • 7+ years working experience in Supply Chain Management/Order Management in a company with a global footprint.

  • Knowledge and Experience in the field of Logistics, Order Management and use of SAP ERP.

  • Strategic skills/conceptual thinking. Able to see and develop the bigger picture.

  • Good influencing, communications skills, a bridge builder.

  • Change Management skills, analytical, and process oriented.

  • Experienced team leader.
