In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop and Deliver innovative software solutions for our PACS business line. Philips Enterprise Imaging is a platform that combines deep clinical expertise with technological innovation and close partnership to securely connect patients, care teams, and data across entire health systems.

You are responsible for

  • High level and deep software design and development including code reviews, troubleshooting and defect identification and defect fix process

  • Developing system solutions aligned with customer workflow enhancing customer productivity

  • Understand the interplay of 3rd party applications and Philips PACS and develop solutions to support this eco system

  • Develop solutions to mitigate immediate problems at customer sites as well as develop solutions to enhance the robustness of the product to meet the nonfunctional requirements like performance, scalability and reliability

  • Participate in design, code and system review process

  • Participate in scrum team activities, effort estimation, project planning, and daily standups

  • Will involve travel to customer sites to learn about their operations and to understand customer experiences and suggest resolutions to their problems

  • Apply the learnings from customer experiences to develop better services and solutions

  • Researching and using newer tools and technologies that will help us improve our product and serve our customers better

  • Interfacing as required with customer facing teams and supporting the products used by customer / partners.

As a Sr,Software Engineer you are a critical working part of R&D Our SaaS solution, stores images for millions of patients across hundreds of hospitals across the World and helps clinicians acquire, analyze, and interpret clinical data so they have the care-specific information they need to make informed decisions with confidence.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimally BSEE/BSCE/BSCS or equivalent in Computer Science

  • Minimally 8+ years of Software Development Experience

  • Advanced Software Programming skills in C++, C#, SQL in a regulated environment

  • Must have Healthcare Technology knowledge, IE: PACS / DICOM / HL7 / EMR

  • Experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, etc.)

  • Prior development experience with Object Oriented Analysis, Design Patterns, and Distributed Systems

  • Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures Very strong problem solving skills and debugging skills

  • Experience working on web services

  • Experience with defined software development methodologies including Agile

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken form

  • Working with tools like Wireshark is a preference
