You are responsible for:
Executing new product development efforts for process characterization and validation.
Executing Manufacturing technology development and manufacturing transfer projects.
Implementing new technologies in factories
Providing in-depth knowledge for productivity improvement activities linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment
Providing in-depth knowledge for problem solving linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment
Executing Manufacturing technology scouting
Providing cross-site best-practices and learnings To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
BS Engineering degree, MS degree in engineering preferred
5+ years’ experience in expanding engineering roles (manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, etc.) in a highly regulated industry (medical devices or pharmaceutical strongly preferred)
Successful record of accomplishment executing complex manufacturing or new product development projects / programs / improvement opportunities (timelines, quality, capacity, capability, cost, productivity some key metrics).
Strong leadership skills (change management, communications, building rapport and executing within a complex matrixed organization)
Demonstrated ability in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred)
Design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability, project management, and coaching / mentoring junior engineers
Effectively communicates to numerous stakeholders including senior management, other Business Groups, internal and/or external customers and staff.
Proficient with FDA QSR/cGMP and ISO13485 requirements to maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulations.
