The FCO Manager drives and manages all Field Change Orders (Field Recalls) of all our products that HIC Pune is the legal owner of, End-to-End. This is a critical role from the perspective of the business as well as that of regulatory compliance.

Activities:

  • Create and implement the FCO strategy to achieve overall CS vision and goals balancing revenue, margin and Customer Satisfaction

  • Maintain regulatory compliance for the organization as a whole, as FCOs form a critical deliverable for competent authorities in medical device organizations

  • Cater to multiple products from the segments of IGT (CV + MoS) by collaborating with teams located across locations of Best (NL) and Pune

  • Deliver on time on quality on budget deliverables with respect to FCO deployment

Relevant organizational aspects:

  • Reports to the Head – Customer Satisfaction

  • Individual Contributor position

  • Peers: Operations Manager, Service product Manager, Technical Support Manager, Q&R Safety Manager, R&D Life Cycle Managers

  • Other significant relationships – Relationship with cross location FCO Managers’ located in Best, Hamburg and the 17 Markets of Philips

Experience and background

  • Bachelor or master degree level of education

  • Experience in Service and/or FCO environment

  • Should have knowledge of FDA and other compliance requirements in field recalls for medical devices

  • Basic knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality management in a medical environment

  • Knowledge and working experience of IT tools like SAP, Trackwise, and also Word and excel

  • Strong Quality drive (preferable audit experience) and familiar with LEAN-principles

  • Knowledge and experience of service tools inside and outside of the medical devices

  • Experience working in a product development/Customer Service environment
