In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manager of a dedicated engineering department for equipment and process development, production preparation, maintenance and quality control.
You are responsible for
People management of RPE (Released Product Engineering) team members - coaching, mentoring, and allocating employees for greatest positive impact on the business.
Interface with LT management as required for resourcing, program status, budget and overall administrative items as required by the business.
Interfacing with cross functional management to accomplish business and department objectives.
Defining employees’ KARs for year and Goal setting for employees.
Resource management - people, capital, time, priority management; escalations, guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.
Track, identify, and escalate relevant departmental issues and action plans, conflict avoidance and resolution.
Day-to-day deployment of staff activities and priority assignment.
Deploy LCM resources to provide technical support to investigate and develop solutions for product and process related issues as they arise in production, service, and other pertinent functional areas.
Manage development and implementation of new and revised material through business and quality system processes
Project management; risk management, strategy and planning input, and project execution.
Deliver timely solutions while maintaining compliance w/ applicable regulations and standards.
Provide timely support for escalations from Manufacturing and Service.
Support, and participate in T3 Daily Management activities on behalf of LCM group.
OEM Support; provide support and deploy LCM resources to investigate and develop solutions for product and process related issues related.
Provide support for supplier change requests on behalf of LCM group.
Manage LCM design and process changes related to released products.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master/Bachelor in Engineering with 15+years of experience
Several years of hands-on experience in leading medical devices / products development / maintenance.
5+ years of Experience in LCM management / Project management is highly preferred.
Experience in configuration management, tools and techniques is highly preferred.
Fast learner and interest to learn new technologies/business/systems.
System thinking mindset
Excellent communication skills
Leadership skills and drive for results
Mindset to simplify and reach to solutions with speed.
