In this role, you have the opportunity to prepare and implement projects in multi-discipline areas in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing. Collaboration & co-ordination with the sub-projects or vendor managed projects, Multi-sites complex project.
You are responsible for
Formulating the (sub) project plan, in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirements
Organizing the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processes
Identifying the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closure
Coaching and directs project team members and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally, including agile software development when applicable (where necessary, directs sub-Is responsible and facilitates for implementation and realization and release (if applicable) by the project team according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization
Represents the (sub)-project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectiveness
Gathers and integrates project performance and progress information. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project members
You are a part of Diagnostic X-Ray Business Program Office (BPO) team based out of Philips Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC). Philips HIC-Pune is a product innovation center for multiple businesses with presence of R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing functions. The center is focused on developing smart and reliable X-ray imaging based Diagnostics and Treatment products with enhanced patient safety to meet the unmet needs of a wide range of global hospital customer base.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
MBA with Bachelor or Master Degree in an Engineering discipline.
15+ years of relevant working experience, owning/leading projects from idea through implementation with evidence of business impact
PMP Certification is preferred.
Specific knowledge of technical engineering of the relevant technical discipline and related disciplines or specific functional knowledge in the relevant functional discipline and related disciplines
Professional knowledge of project management methods and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/functional discipline
Soft skills like people management and coaching, team management and enablement
Negotiation skills; managing subcontractors / Suppliers
Strong leadership & people influencing skills.
